Trophy Spring Stripers and Black Drum Fishing Out Of Cape May on the 55 Hooked Up II

[singlepic id=14 w=320 h=240 float=left]We had nothing short of a fantastic 2012 fall striper season on large stripers bunker chunking the Delaware Bay.  Just flat out one of the best fall seasons ever on quality size stripers that were almost all in the 20-30 lb range with 6 over 40 lbs.

We plan on being ready to target the first wave of stripers that enter the Delaware Bay with our first trips scheduled for the late March or early April. The stripers only stay around in the lower bay a few weeks before moving to the upper bay to spawn and we plan to follow them up the bay and target the post spawn trophy size stripers.

The spring run offers the opportunity to catch some of the largest stripers of the year and they can be even larger than what we catch in the fall. We will start our Black Drum trips around the full moon in late April as well as continue to fish for the big post spawn stripers until they leave the bay and head north for the summer months.

Be sure to check out our 2013 charter rates, the various spring trips we offer all the pictures of last fall’s great striper fishing.

Between Capt John and mates Vinny and Ray we offer close to 50 years experience fishing for stripers on the Delaware Bay plus one the largest and most comfortable deluxe charter boat fishing out of South Jersey.

If you are a single or small party contact usto put you on the list for spring open boat striper trips.
