The last couple of days have produced some great catches fishing up the beach to the north of Cape May. The reports indicate trolling is the ticket to catching large stripers but that could change and jig bite might break wide open over the next few days.
We will be chunking around the lower bay as we feel these large trophy striper should show up anytime now in the Delaware Bay as they make their way south to their winter homes off Virginia and North Carolina and this is most exciting news we have heard this fall on striper fishing in South Jersey. Possibly this December will produce great catches like last year and these reports indicate we will soon be seeing large schools of trophy striper entering the Delaware Bay.
